Re-blended this year for an even bolder cup of tea, this is a delicious mix of black tea blended with exotic fruits. Exhibits the exotic flavors of the seven seas. A real crowd pleaser, this tea is named in honor of the U.S. Navy Midshipmen.
ingredients: organic black tea, mango pieces, pineapple cubes, rose petals, sunflower, organic bergamot oil, cornflower petals, natural flavoring
Brewing Instructions (per each 6 oz. of water):
I like this tea when I bought it a few years ago. Then it wasn't available for a while. It has a pleasing fragrance but not really strong smell. The taste is mild without any odd flavor - it's fruity(at least for me). It's different than regular tea, but not over bearing. I would recommend it. I bought a tin container also, but I didn't like it too much as it was bigger than I expected and not aa nice as the one I had from a few years ago, but it's only $2.00.
I'm usually a straight black tea fan, but this tea has really peaked my taste buds! This is one of the most delicious and flavorful teas I have ever tasted. The combination of fruits with a light citrus bergamot on an organic black tea base is really quite extraordinary. I highly recommend giving this very special blend a try.
An amazingly smooth tea that's slightly citrusy and has elements of tropical fruits - it's a tribute to it's name and every cup I've made is simply delicious.
