Cinnamon Sugar Plum is a holiday fruit tisane with an apple base, hibiscus tang, and spicy-sweet cinnamon.

One of our classic holiday teas, Cinnamon Sugar Plum is super sweet, warming, and full-bodied for a delicious treat when your nose gets a-chillin'.

The aromatic scent of the dried fruit and spices begins a Waltz of the Sugar Plum Fairy on your senses before your lips touch the cup. Once you sip, you'll be warm and jolly no matter the weather.

While it's primarily intended as a hot tea for the winter season, it's also great as iced tea during the summer. This tea has licorice root and sweet apple. We don't recommend adding sugar or sweetener.

I've only made this tea once and don't have a strong opinion yet.

    Organic Cinnamon Sugar Plum Tea

Posted by Ally on Jan 23rd 2018

Fresh plums on the nose, but the currant comes through strongest on the palate, adding a lightly tannic, almost tart note to this tea. Fruit forward with a hint of sugared plum on the finish; almost no discernible cinnamon. I find this tea a little too tart on its own, but honey definitely mellows it out.

the smell of this is like a cinnamon bun...yum ! I find the taste mostly cinnamon but with a "back taste" that I cannot identify ? Sometimes it is plum & other times I get the taste of licorice which I can not understand ???

    Very Christmas-y

This just tastes like Christmas. The cinnamon is hot but not overpowering or too sharp. The sugar plum adds a nice balance.

    It's tea-crack, I swear

Posted by Melissa N on May 24th 2016

I love this tea so very much. I want to describe it, but I just can't, there's nothing comparable. Warm apple pie with cranberries comes close - but still not quite it. Just try it, you'll be glad you did.

    Sweet spicy cinnamon

If you love red hot cinnamon candies you'll love this tea. Sweet spicy cinnamon with tart fruity berries make an amazing cup of herbal tea.

    One of my favorites

Posted by Jessica Chiles on Feb 27th 2016

I have ordered several teas from Capital Teas, and this one is definitely one of my top teas. I love the fruitiness of the plum and hibiscus and the base of the cinnamon- adds a lot of flavor without too much spice!

It Smells Better Than It Tastes

    Posted by L on Feb 25th 2016

I usually love the offerings by Capital Teas, but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by this one. I bought it in the shop because it smelled incredible, but the taste falls a bit short. For some reason, the smell is more complex and interesting, and the taste is more straight up floral. It's perfectly fine, and I'll drink it, but I'm not buying it again when there are so many other fantastic options by Capital Teas. If I want a floral caffeine-free tea, I prefer the Heavenly Hibiscus Rooibos, and if I want cinnamon, I'll drink one of the myriad delicious chai offerings here, such as the Rock Creek Red Chai Rooibos.

Right now, my favorite; exceptional fragrance

Posted by Lisa Claflin on Dec 23rd 2015

I got a sample of this and made it up and was so delilghted that I ordered for each of my adult kids and myself. This is exceptionally good and has what I can best describe as a really good rice pudding scent to it. Presumably that is a combination of the cinnamon and sugar scent with the tea and other stuff in it. If they hadn't sent a sample I wouldn't probably ever have ordered it because we have over 30 teas to choose from in canisters in the kitchen and I don't wan to load up on stuff I'm not crazy about.
