Warm, inviting, and slightly spicy. As a Chai should be.
Flavorful, smooth, delicious
I tend to prefer spicier Chai, but this was cool in its way. Smooth and sophisticated. Unfortunately I have had close equivalents from other vendors (including Eastern Shore Teas) at 50%+ discounts.
After reading about the historic nature of this tea, I wanted to give it a try. In truth, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised when I brewed up a cup. Smooth, balanced black tea with warming spices that are not overly spicy but exciting to my palate. The addition of vanilla gives a subtle creaminess to the blend.
Santa left me a lovely batch of tea for a stocking stuffer! I love it! Smell is delicious, flavor is great! Subtle chai with orange overtures. Enjoying a cup right now!
I was under the impression that the tea was in triangular bags not loose
I've tried a lot of chai blends from Capital Teas. Sorry this is definitely not my cup of tea but all the tea from Capital Teas is good tea. If you are on the fence about trying--get 2 oz. online and then buy a bigger quantity later if you love it.
A favorite of mine.
It's got a little kick, but not too peppery. Love the oranges! It's a well-balanced blend.
Shared chai masala with a friend. You now have a new fan!
