ingredients: Keemun and Lapsang Black Teas
This interesting tea is believed to have originated from 18th century camel caravans that transported teas along the Silk Road for the transcontinental tea trade from areas such as China and India to Europe through Russia. Russian Caravan is a traditional blend of lapsang souchong and keemun black teas. The deep flavor is full bodied and has a touch of sweet malty undertones. Although flavorful, it is smooth and mellow, so it is easy to enjoy Russian Caravan tea any time. Add in the number of health benefits this tea offers, and you’ll want to make this black tea from Capital Teas your everyday staple.

Great tea and nicely balanced. Tea aroma and flavor nicely smoky. Many Caravan teas I've tried have a great smoky smell but don't deliver on taste. This one does both well. This is a great cold weather tea. Thanks Capital Tea!
My all time favorite tea, a strong, flavorful black tea with a hint of the smokiness of a lapsang. Best if brewed Russian style, into a very powerful black liquor mixed with steaming hot water from a samovar. Try it with a spoonful of raspberry jam, and like Greta Garbo, you'll be saying, "Take me back to Petersburg".
They are loving it. Thank you.
Much better than the Kusmi "Samovar" tea, which is similarly smoky, and certainly easier to find and buy from the Captital website. YOUR MAIL ORDER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT; I would suggest, however, that you have your staff at National Harbor tell customers that they are being charged for the tin when they make a purchase - that came as a surprise to me when I first visited your website and tried to retroactively do the math on my earlier in-shop purchase.
The taste is wonderful. I just have to get past the aroma.
