  • Amazing Selection

Assam Hidden Gem Organic TGFOP 1st Flush is a full-bodied black tea grown in the tropical climate of the state of Assam in Eastern India, South of the eastern Himalayas along the Brahmaputra River and Barak River Valleys.

This single-estate Assam Tea has a rich body with smooth, malty undertones and fresh notes. The brewed tea has a deep golden caramel color.

Our current inventory was just harvested in Spring 2022 and the freshness is apparent in the scent, flavor, and nuance of the dried leaves and brew.

We recommend drinking this tea as is without cream or sugar to enjoy all of the intense and subtle layers of flavor.

This is the best Assam tea that we've been able to find in the Wash DC area. Keep coming back for more.

Very smooth with a nice depth of flavor, no harshness, wonderful with milk.
